Print

The print function of PhotoScape allows you to take control of how pictures appear when they are printed.

Adding Photos to the Print Queue

Add Pictures to the Print Queue

1. Click Add and choose Add a Photo or Add a photo from clipboard.

2. Once Add a photo is selected, the Phototool appears to select the picture(s) desired.

Note : The clipboard must already be populated with a photo to use the Adding photos from the clipboard. Photos can be added to the clipboard using the Screen Capture tool.

Note : You can preview effects and filters by right clicking on any part of the screen in full-screen mode and selecting an option from the menu.

Note : You can preview images via a slideshow by pressing Shift-Enter on your keyboard.

Delete a Photo from the Queue

1. Select a photo from the queue (a highlighted photo will appear in the canvas section below).

2. Click on the X icon to the right of the Add button.

Delete all Photos from the Queue

1. Click on the Trash Can icon to the right of the Add button.

Printing and Printing Options

Set Print Options

1. Check the various options for printing in the right tool bar. Some of these options are explained below

Portrait Shot Print     

Thumbnail Print

Filename Height : Places the text of the picture file name on the picture

Intervals (mm) : Specifies the amount of empty space between each picture  

Stretch : Enlarges the picture by stretching (distorting) it to fit the paper

Paper Ful l: Does not resize picture but leaves empty margins or crops out excess space on the paper

Image Full : Enlarges the picture by increasing the overall size and cropping out the excess to fit the paper

DPI : Acts as a zoom function, a high number of dots per inch will be the least zoomed in and a low number will be the most zoomed in

Note : The Paper Full option does not print the part of the photo that exceeds the size of the printed material.

Print Pictures

1. Click on Print

2. Select Print all pages, Print the current page or Set Print Range.

Note : Print all pages does exactly the action the name describes. Print the current page prints the currently selected picture. Set Print Range prints a specified range of pictures
