The Page function of PhotoScape allows you to arrange your photos into a digital picture. How the photos are arranged, how many there are and the appearance of the frame can all be edited using this tool.

Arranging Photos in Frames

To Add a Picture to the Frame

1. Click on one of the unmarked boxes labeled photo in the center of the screen.
This will bring up a browser where you can select a photo from your hard drive.

2. Click on the photo that you want to add to the box that you clicked.


Note: You can preview effects and filters by right clicking on any part of the screen in full-screen mode and selecting an option from the menu.

Note: You can preview images via a slideshow by pressing Shift-Enter on your keyboard.

Note: You can also add a photo by clicking and dragging an image from the file browser on the left side of the screen and then dropping it in one of the “photo” boxes.


Note: If a photo is too large to fit into its box, only part of it will be showing. To adjust what part of the photo is showing, click and drag the photo in its box until the correct section of the photo is in the frame.
To Change the Arrangement of the “Photo” Boxes in the Frame
1. Click on any of the outlined frames located in the lower right of the screen.


Adjusting Frames and Effects

To Adjust the Size of the Frame

1. Click on the Acorn icon next to the Size box in the upper-right of the screen.
This will open a dropdown menu.


2. Select an option from the list of choices.

Note: The width and height of the frame can be directly assigned in pixels by clicking on the
Assign the Page Size option from the dropdown menu.

Note: The ratio of width to height of the frame can be directly assigned by clicking on the
Assign the ratio of width and height button.



To Adjust the Size of the Margins around the Frame

1. Make sure that no photo in the frame is selected by clicking in the shaded gray area outside of the frame.
If no photo is selected, there will be no rectangle around any of the photos.

2. Adjust the number in the Margin box.

To Round the Edges of All “Photo” Boxes

1. Adjust the number in the Round box.


Note: The numbers in the Round box represent a percent. 100 and over will make the box a perfect circle.


To Adjust the Size of the Margins around an Individual Photo

1. Click on a photo in the frame. If a photo is selected, there will be a rectangle around it.

2. Adjust the number in the Margin box.


To Add a Decorative Border (Frame) Around All “Photo” Boxes

1. Click on Frame.

2. Select a frame from the drop-down menu.


Note: This tool will add the same frame to every photo. If you wish to add a frame to only one photo, or different frames to different photos, you can do so by using the Editor tool’s
Frame function and saving a copy of that image.

To Add a Decorative Border (Frame) to your Favorites

1. Click on the Star icon next to the Frame button.


2. Select Manage the frame Favorites. This will bring up a window. On the left will be a list of all the available frames, on the right will be a list of your favorite frames.



3. Add a frame to your favorites by clicking on favorites and then clicking on Add to Favorites.


Note: This can also be done by selecting a frame from the Frame dropdown menu and afterwards clicking on Add the frame to Favorites.

To Add a Decorative Border (Frame) From Your Favorites

1. Click on the Star icon next to the Frame icon.
2. Select a frame from the dropdown menu.

Note: This tool will add the same frame to every photo. If you wish to add a frame to only one photo, or different frames to different photos, you can do so by using the Editor tool’s Frame function and saving a copy of that image.


To Add an Effect to All Photos

1. Click the Filter box and select from the list of options

Available Effects

Grayscale - Makes the photos black and white

Sepia - Makes the photos black and white and appear to be developed using Sepia toner (a different color than black and white, but still monochromatic)

Reverse Black and White - Makes the photos appear black and white with the colors reversed

Brighten - Makes the photos lighter (the more times this is selected, the greater the effect)

Deepen - Makes the tones in the photos appear richer (the more times this is selected, the greater the effect)

Darken - Makes the photos darker (the more times this is selected, the greater the effect)

Vignetting#1 - Adds a dark circular gradient around the edges of the frame

Vignetting#2 - Adds a darker circular gradient around the edges of the frame

Note: This tool will add the same effect to every photo. If you wish to add an effect to only one photo, or different effects to different photos, you can do so by using one of the Editor tools (including Filter) and saving a copy of that image.
