Animated GIF

The Animated GIF function of PhotoScape allows you to create an animated gif slideshow of your pictures.


Adding Photos to Slideshows

1. Click the Add button on the Animated GIF interface. This will open up a range of options.


2. Select where in your queue, you wish to add the photo. “Add photo” will add it to the front of the queue, “insert a photo in the current position” will add the photo to the position behind the photo currently selected in your queue.

3. Select a photo from your files.


Note: You can also add a photo from your clipboard by selecting the option from the menu.

Note: You can also add a photo by clicking and dragging an image from the file browser on the left side of the screen.


Change Display Time

1. Click the Change Time button.

2. Adjust the duration of time that each photo is displayed by changing the Display Time.
Increasing the number increases how long a photo is displayed before switching to the next one.



Note: You can adjust the duration of an individual photo by checking the “change only display time of the selected frame” dot.





Change Transition Animation

1. Click the Change the Effect button.

2. Select the desired effect from the list of options.





Background Color - Select a color from the Background Color bar, or create a color from the More Colors button.


Image Enlargement Options

Check one of the boxes located in the lowest section on the right side.

Stretch  Stretches the photos to fit them into the canvas


Paper Full  Crops photos to fit them into the canvas



Animated GIF Display Size Otion

1. Select an option from the dropdown menu located beneath the Canvas box.


Note: To adjust the size of the Slideshow by percent, either slide the bar below the dropdown menu or write in the percent in the percentage box.


Image Full Enlarges photos as much as possible while keeping inside of the frame, then fills in excess canvas area with background color


Image Full (No Enlargement)  Keeps photos in original state, then fills in excess canvas area with background color


The Photo Align (dropdown menu)
If the photo is too little, Photo Align designates where the photo is centered on the canvas. If the photo is too big, Photo Align designates what part of the photo will be focused on while the rest of the photo is cropped.
